hello, world.

My name is Dév Vorburger, I am (soon) a PhD student of Lukas Brantner and Christopher Douglas at the University of Oxford (Lincoln College).

My main interests are Algebraic Topology, Homotopy Theory, and more recently learning about the connections between these topics and mathematical physics.
I do not yet know what exactly I will be working on, but I am hoping to learn more about : Goodwillie Calculus, Koszul Duality, Deformation Theory, Quantization, Factorization Algebras and TQFTs. There are many (adjacent?) topics that I am eager to learn more about : Tensor categories (and other representation theoretic categories), Symplectic structures, Calabi-Yau stuff, Embedding calculus, Orthogonal Calculus, THH, etc.

Here is a list of stuff I have written related to mathematics.

Here is a link to whatever stuff not directly related to mathematics I might want to include here at some point (creative writings, blog posts, or whatever else).
